Steel Beams Bulk Checker serves as an efficient and user-friendly parametric beam analysis tool, streamlining the design process by eliminating the cumbersome trial and error typically associated with beam property selection. Users can simply input the relevant parameters along with the desired section type, and the application quickly identifies all sections meeting shear, bending, and deflection criteria. The resulting data can be sorted based on weight, depth, inertia, and moduli.

This tool is capable of producing optimal designs in under a minute, which significantly enhances productivity.

 <li>Offers the option to include or exclude self-weight considerations for each beam.</li>
 <li>Allows for the definition of bracing conditions at beam ends, at half or quarter spans, or fully braced scenarios.</li>
 <li>Gives options to solve for all sections or limit results to the first 10 or 50 entries based on increasing weight order, optimizing calculations for shape types with numerous designations (e.g., W, HSS, 2L).</li>
 <li>Saves user preferences instantly, minimizing repetitive data entry across different problems.</li>
 <li>Provides detailed reports on maximum moment and shear, bending stresses, allowed bending stress, shear stresses, allowed shear stress, deflections, and a summary of problem setup.</li>
 <li>Capable of analyzing point loads at mid-span or distributed loads using an ASD9-based solver.</li>

The application rigorously checks for bending and shear stresses against set criteria while also reporting deflections. It is ultimately the user’s responsibility to determine whether those deflections align with acceptable limits. Notably, only singly and doubly symmetric shapes are evaluated in this release; consequently, single angles are excluded. However, double angle (2L) sections are considered under the assumption of continuous contact.
